How would I change my 6x9s to fit comps

Hey guys, I asked about speakers a few days ago and a few of you said that I shouldn't put in 6x9s but instead get another comp set. If I were to get another comp set how would I change my 6x9s space to fit the comps. Thanks for the help.

buy a frame top go over the 6x9 slot & mount the tweeter????????????????

thas what i did to put 4" comp. in my 4x6 slot.

Take the 6 x 9's out and trace them on a 1/8" sheet of pressboard or another thin wood. Cut them out with a jig saw, then trace your comps out and cut them out with the jig saw as well.

Yes, but if he has the stuff to do it, it would be cheaper than buying a plate.
