How will my 73 vert mustang sound?

My fabricator just order my sound system. How do you guys think it will sound? 73 Mustang vert.

What kind of enclosure is this going in and I have to wonder what price you are paying for this setup?

It will all be dependent on the installation. Good speakers can sound bad and mediocre speakers can sound great.

Right around 3800. It would be a full trunk enclosure & custom kick panels. Amps mounted in the floor plexiglass & subs in a box plexiglass with burgundy lights. The guys does the best fabrications that I have ever seen in California, a lot of over the top projects for shows. I'm sure the build will be great quality.

I have a small trunk but the enclosure will be similar to this. I was afraid that I would loose a lot of sound due to it being a convertible.

Yes u will lose lots of sound converts suckkk ..but i doubt thats gona stop u from getting it installed.gota work with what u have

I have a 73 Vert mustang as well...I did a sorta stealth install on my subs...I went with a set of Polk Momo8's installed in Bazooka style tubes...under the rear top in the trunk...I have one load on each side...The bass response sounds good...My amp is a Memphis Baby Belle mounted on the side on a custom panel...I wanted to hide it..but it was a little too big...I have kick panel mounted 6.5 mids...with Aura Bass shakers under the seats....

How were you gonna mount the double din ?

I'm going to let the fabricator just work his magic. He does a lot of over the top set ups for SEMA and other events. But I will share photos and details as soon as he finishes. Hopefully he wraps up this week so I can move the project to the rim shop. Did you put a center speaker in your dash?

I put a center speaker in ...and ran it off deck power for center fill...Its a custom sounds DVC...on each corner of the dash i ran a set of old school Altec Lansing tweeters...I guess relocating the climate control would make room for a double din...I know I updated all the factory bezels and those cars are a pain...especially the one around the glove box...The original chrome was looking bad so I redid them all...

Did you see my white custom dash? I purchased all new bezels that he will probably just chop up. He's a good fabricator so I trust his vision but I told him not to go over the top. I've dropped so much money into this car I'm just ready to wrap it up.

I know that feeling....There is a build log section here and some pics of your car and install along the way would be nice...mine is red with black interior...It has the 351c and rare factory power windows with AC...I have to bring it to a shop to get a gasket fixed in the transmision....Hopefully mine will be on the road soon...
