I planned a box for my 8" sub for behind my single cab truck seat. I am using the RE box design and was wondering how well it works. I want a ported box tuned to ~45, but need the box to be VERY small.
Here are the specs I used to design it, and was wondering if it is accurate as it does not take into account the specs for the sub, which is an ED9k. I am making it with birch, not mdf so I went 1/2in instead of 3/4. Let me know. Also, any considerations on sub mount location or port location would be helpful. Here it is:
It is only 0.27ft3 though, I can probably get it a little bigger, but not much more than 0.3-0.33ft3.
