how to wire up stereos

i new to sound sytems and i wanted to hook up my cd player

in my car and also i wanna hook up my truck with a cd player too

but i dont know how to wire them up.i was hoping somebody

can tell me wich wires go together and which ones not to connect

and how many different ways are there to connect them.

Well, the easiest way to go about things is to get yourself a Metra kit, or a Scosche kit for your specific vehicle. You can get them at most car audio places, but you can get them a little cheaper online. They've got instructions on how to install everything. Otherwise, here's a site that should help:

I'd say just buy your your decks from ultimate or sountrack, or tweeters ... I think all those places offer free install if you buy the cd player and parts from them at the same time.
