How to wire 2 12" Type-Rs for lowest impedance

I'm looking at buying 2 Type-Rs and I found a really good deal on the Infinity 1211a amp which will run 1300w x 1 @ 2 ohms....the only problem is that the subs are the 4 ohm DVC's. Would this set up work? I think if i ran them parallel it would equate to a 1 ohm load and I don't know if this amp is stable at 1 ohm....can somebody please give me a wiring diagram or something to help out?

thanks

All you are gonna be able to do (im in this situation myself) is either sell em, and get 2 omh ones, buy one more (2.67omhs) or two more (2ohms). Other than that, there isnt much i know of that you can do.

Your never gonna get a 2 ohm load to that amp with 2 dvc 4ohm subs. I have 2 dvc 4 ohm subs. They are wired separately at 2 ohms each but together they push a 4 ohm load on my amp. Either your gonna have to find an amp that has enough power at 4 ohms...or get another amp that can run a 1 ohm load. Thats your only options if you wanna keep those subs. If not get the dvc 2 ohm models and then you can wire them down to 2 ohm and your be fine.
