Wouldn't the different t/s parameters of different subwoofers determine the size and length of ports? Or does it just affect space inside?Tunning does not depend on the sub...
The box's net volume, port's surface area, and ports length determine the tunning of a box.

Use this as a basic guide to port tunning.
Don't do that, just build a whole new box, first off, your box is probably way to small to make ported, and if it's not it's probably not the right size you would want for that subwoofer ported...why couldnt i just cut a hole out in the box and put one in. and whats better for loudness longer or shorter tubes
If the box is built correctly yes. If it is someone that just drills a hole in a sealed box and places a tube in it...most likely not and it will sound like ***.so if i had a 12 w3 it would make it louder if i got a ported box
Yes the difference from a sealed to ported box is generally 2-6db(night and day to your ear). So if you build a proper ported box it will be much louder.so if i had a 12 w3 it would make it louder if i got a ported box
all i play is rap so thats wut ima be setting it up for, could i buy a good tuned ported box off the net, bigger is better right
