How to test an amp

switch the DMM to DC, you should be getting something between 13-14v for the power inputs. switch it to AC, and you should be getting a reading from the speaker outputs.

make sure your ground is secure and like trancer said to check any fuses that may have blown

you can always use some wire and touch one set of terminals, at a time (if its a dual vc sub) to your car battery. if the cone moves, the subs fine.

9V battery is easier and works just as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
