I've always just grabbed motor in one hand basket in other and pulled it apart. even epoxy has broke loose for me?

use a pry bar or strait screwdriver

Find a brick or concrete area higher than ground level stand at ground level and beat da bish. Worked for me once. But my sa motor is another story.

undo the screws and wrap basket with a rubber mallet while holding the motor. the sonic vibrations will break the glue....
