How to take basket off of magnet

Well Im dissambling a Type-R

I cut out the cone and the coil and the 2 spiders and got to the basket and the magnet I DID REMOVE the 5 screws shown in this picture below. now that they are removed how do I get the basket off of the motor

sit on the floor grab the motor, basket facing away from you. put your feet on the basket and push away as hard as you can just be careful not to shit your pants.

Rubber mallet.. light taps around the basket

Ok well I almost got to the shitting my pants part and stoped this thing feels like one solid *** piece still. Should I try and use a blow dryer anywhere to soften up the glue and if so where at? what points

I doupt that will work. When you push a sub really hard it will get hotter then that. But I dont really know

okay all joking aside you might want to try heating up the area between the motor and basket with a heat gun or a hot hair dryer then try to put a tiny flat head between the motor and basket and then tap it with a hammer...but still try not to shit your pants.

Will do, this is my first time doing this when you mean between the motor and the basket do you mean on the outside part? or on the inside? between the metal circle and the other metal circle. probably not the most descriptive part but Ill try rubber mallet and basket and screw driver right now

on the outside part. like a little eyeglass flat head might work if its stiff enough
