How to solve my box problem?

Right now, the floor in my extended cab truck looks like this, the back part:

As of now the box that is in there is built around all of that crap. I was wondering if this can effect the sound at all? Compared to just a regular rectangular box. I was wondering what I can do, to cover that up, and then just put a regular box on top of it. I was thinking wood blocks or something. But any ideas are welcome.

Make a "False floor"

Jsut take a piece of MDF, Cut it to size, And screw it down, Might need to add Some support the the bottom, In some spots.

false floor seems like the best best, i have a bump in the back of my truck too and i plan to just build the box and then add support where it doesnt touch the floor
