How to SHRINK BOX???

I would think with the power of the sub, that the shoebox would collapse on itself to some degree when the pressure on the outside greatly increases. Use some thin MDF and make a small box and be done with it.

Forget the shoe box.
If you want to build a box....see my original post in this thread.

build a 1cuft (external volume) box out of MDF and put it in your current box.

Glue and screw this new box to the internal walls of your current box.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
OH! I didn't quite understand what you meant the first time around.

This will work if I can squeeze it into subwoofer cutout and have enough to clear the baskets and depth of the subs.

I'll do some calculations and give this a try....'

THANKS GUYS

Make it the same size as your shoebox.....if that will fit, then so will the one you make.
