How to SHRINK BOX???

I want to deduct 1cube ft. of airspace from my sealed enclosure.

I've read a couple threads about this but I would like to know the most "Practical" thing to do without having to add bricks/2x4's and unneccessary weight to my setup.

p.s. I had the idea of taking a shoebox equivalent to 1cube ft. taping it up air-tight and throwing into the sealed enclosure.... Will this work?

Unscrew end panel, cut off one end of the box to whatever ya need, and screw the end back on.
That might work if he didnt use any glue when building the enclosure. That would be a fail in itself though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Throw it in the washing machine on warm for a few minutes, then toss it in the dryer on hot
other than that just angled mdf to shrink the volume or build a new box
tried this but washing made it 10x bigger

my thoughts exactly....

Will the shoebox idea work? Technically it will take up 1cube ft. of airspace and I can easily throw it into the enclosure

I went from 1.6 to 1.0 doing this cut the end or ends in my case to get to the desired cuft then grab some mdf and put it on to re-seal the box

Forget the shoe box.

If you want to build a box....see my original post in this thread.

build a 1cuft (external volume) box out of MDF and put it in your current box.

Glue and screw this new box to the internal walls of your current box.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
