How to setup speakers with an amp?

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus and I just bought new speakers to put in the front. I got Hertz HSK130's, so that's the two mid speakers and the two tweeters. I got a Pioneer GM3500T 2 channel amp to power these speakers. I just have no idea how to set any of it up? I have these crossover boxes that I'm pretty sure I have to use...and when I ran wires for my aftermarket deck I had to run something from the trunk with all the connections on it...does that have something to do with it?

I realized my last post sounded a little harsh. I'd be happy to try and help, but you are going to have to ask more specific questions. And we will need much more information about your existing system. What *exactly* do you need help with?

I don't know where to get the speaker wires from...let me explain. I know how to run power and ground, that's easy. The part that was confusing for me was I didn't know where to clip the speaker wire to put it in the amp. My car had a special wiring harness that I had to run from the trunk. My thought is, if I clipped the wires at the back of the deck, and put them in the amp, how would the deck receive a sound signal? Oh, and the "instructions" included with the Hertz speakers I bought are ALL images. No real answers there for me.

Do you have an aftermarket dash unit installed or is it the stock radio? Did your car have the premium stock sound or standard?

If it is aftermarket radio, then a special wiring harness was installed to get the signals from the trunk to the dash - look up the pinout for the head-unit connector and access the speaker wires behind the head-unit in the dash.

If stock, then you need a special harness. Look on eBay for an "Amp Integration Harness" that fits your make/model/year

Or see if any of these fit...
