Today i was driving and these 2 ladies in front of me(both 18)..decided to NOT keep going thru the yellow light and instead hit the breaks..meanwhile i was trying to make the yellow light...and i slam my breaks..so i swerve left and avoid hitting them from behind but nip their driver side back of car..left a few black marks from my truck on their car(white car)..so instead of dealing with police and having insurance go up..we decide to go to parking lot down the road and talk about it.

so having nothing else to do i gave her $150..and said this should cover getting it fixed..it should come out with a little finger nail polish remover or something...and she placed my # in her phone.

So..how much would something like that cost? to remove the black paint from her white car like it was never there

10 bucks....

I was racing a taxi cab & he nudged my front right fender...got some yellow/orangish paint on it, but no body damage.

came off with some scratch remover (but a WHOLE lot of elbow grease!!!!)

my car is black.

what you could've did was this, tell her to let you fix it yourself; you work in an auto-shop & deal with cases like these everyday. Tell her you would've offered to fix it but didn't have the time; however, now you do.

here's the biggie...ask for the $150 back & tell her that you usually do a job like this for $200. make it look like she's getting a deal. offer to fix it yourself.

go to autozone, buy some paint scratch remover for less than 10 bucks, spend a good 2 hours "working on her car". you have to really rub hard. bring extra materials making it look like a big job. so really what you do is for the first hour and a half, tell her you applied some stuff to it to loosen the chemical bonds between the molecules and it needs time to penetrate. tell her there's like 4 stages. you "usually" only do 2 but since you want to do a good job you do 4 "stages". The last half hour, you actually rub the hell out of those paint marks with that scratch remover & call it a day.

---> this is assuming there's no physical body damage & it was just a paint transfer....
