how to make box plans.

I am trying to figure out how to make a box for a jl w6. I am looking at the manual and it shows me most of the specs but not all of it. I tryed using this site but at the part where you put external width and height do u just put your own so that it could fit your car? Is this right?

Net Volume: 1.5 cubic feet

Tuning Frequency: 32 Hz

Port Width: 2.25 inches

Port Area: 28.125 Square Inches

Port Length: 45 inches

External Dimensions: 25.25 wide x 14 tall x 16.5 deep
