how to install epic 160 in my dash?

I have a Pioneer 6900UB installed in my dash with the din and a half kit, and I want to install the Epic160 underneath it. The thing is, I took it to a Circuit City to get the headunit and dash kit installed so im not sure how to take the headunit out and modify the dash kit so the Epic160 will fit?

I think this is the type of dash kit used

How would I go about removing the headunit, and dash kit? Would my best bet be to remove the dash kit and cut off the bottom portion? Any help or advice would be appreciated!

the dash kit just clips in, pull out the cd player and then you will be able to easily unclip the kit

As far as mounting it in there i would leave the factory pocket and bondo it in

I seriously doubt that that is the kit you need. About a month ago I put my epic 160 in and ordered what I thought was the perfect half-din kit, but the epic 160 was just too ****ed wide for the pocket... My advice is to go straight to metra.com and look it up.

you have the car, you have the kit and you can find the 160 measurements online. bust out a tape measure and find out. you can have your answer in less time then it took to type this thread
