How to hook up sub to stock 2010 civic.... ?

My girlfriend just bought a new 2010 Honda Civic and so she said she'd like some bass. I was looking around for some speakers and amps and whatnot when i realized that there are probly no RCA outputs on the radio and Im not going to cut the wires and put in an RCA convertor because the warranty will most likely be voided. Hmm, is there anything I can do? Im thinking my chances are pretty low. The only thing i can hope for is there being rca outs on the back of the stock radio. Thanks

if you cut the wires they can only void warranty on your radio/car audio system which is probably not even covered.

install the RCA converter or change the deck.

besides, who needs a warranty in a Honda Civic. I guarantee you won't need it.

Use that. You're not cutting the wires, you're just splicing into them. There's no ****ing way that would void your warranty. If something in the audio system gets messed up, they MAY not cover it. If you're power steering pump goes out, they can't claim it's cause you tapped into the rear speaker wires. I have the same situation. I have a subs, with a kicker amp, and cap.

My question is where exactly to you splice into the wires? Behine the radio deck?

Also, I found the item on ebay for pretty cheap.

Yea you will TAP, not cut, into a left rear channel speaker and right rear channel speaker with a Line Out Converter. How could that possibly void your warranty? Nothing bad is going to come from it any how, you're adding your own extra components so if you ruin them then thats your problem, they can't void it for that...good luck.
