How to get old install kit off.

The old install kit is on and I need to get it off to get my new install kit on. Right now the person before me bent these peices of metal on this install kit, and that is why I can't just pull it off. My fingers are to big to bend these back and they are pretty small, and hurt my pinky when I reach back there and try. They won't move. Anyone has any advice?

I would get some keys and pull the head unit out of the cage first, then remove the cage from the dash kit.

yes. It's what holds the cage there.
