How to first SQ system w/ $700-$800?

I currently have a 00 nissan altima that is in need of a system. I really want to put together something that will sound clear in this vehicle, however I am on a limited budget. i would appreciate some system designs around this price range. I mainly listen to reggae, pop, jazz.

thus far i was thinking about going with the pioneer 6900 and rainbow slc265 for the front. however if i go this route i will not have enough for the sub and the amps........so

Sounds like you want a champagne system on a beer budget. Not going to get much SQ at that price point. Might be best to build the system a little at a time and as financing permits.

$700-$800 will get you a high quality head unit and a good set of components, then save up for the amps and subwoofer. Your money will go farther buying some used items.
