How to Fill this Gap? Half Din Flip out

I just retro-fitted a half din 7'' flip out monitor into the navi piece inmy car, but the navi piece comes up less then a .25 short, any suggestions on the best way to fill/cover this gap?

Try circling exactly what you mean by this .25 in one of the pics to make it easier for everyone. Cars nice though!

Ok i circled it and added it to the top pic.

abs plastic, cut if to fit then heat the edges with a heat gun to mold it in there. its also paintable.

hm that sounds like a good idea, I never worked with ABS plastic.

its pretty nice to use. but when you cut it, it leaves that edge white. so you need to hit it with a heat gun to black it out again.

Is plexi-glass and ABS plastic the same?

to my knowledge: no.

they're both thermoplastics, but thats where the resemblance ends.
