Im getting a new car so I have to rip everything out. I remember when I put the cap in the I had to charge it and the book said I had to discharge it before unhooking it. The only problem is that I lost the book and I don't know how to discharge it. I still have the bulb. Any help is appreciated

so I dscharge it the same way I charged it? Should the amp be disconnected first? and to discharge it , I put the bulb on the positive and the negative on the side towards the battery or on the side towards the amp? Thanks alot

grab a screwdriver and touch the positive and negative at the same time with the screwdriver then tell us what happens. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

FVCK just touch one end of the bulb to the positive and the other end to the negative ON THE CAP. And wait until the bulb goes out.

You could, but you wouldn't be doing anything except making a pretty light //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The battery would just keep charging the cap back up as usual...
