how to clean dusty woofer???

I have 2 IDQv.1's in my car. When I got them from a guy off craigslist they were very dusty. Im not sure what material the cone is made out of so Im thinking a damp paper towel would be a bad idea. But maybe it wouldnt?

Any ideas, I wanna clean up the cones and not damage it.

dip it in a powerful bleach, water and soap solution for about 3 hours, will be brand new

ive used armor all wipes. however one time i got some spot shot carpet cleaner or a black alum cone and it discolored it

j/k a damp paper towel would be fine wouldnt recommend using chemicals

I've used tire shine on rubber surrounds and aluminum cones. For paper cones, not sure what to recommend, I guess just a dust blower.

i think ID'd cones are made out of the paper like material and the caps are plastic. just use a lightly dampend rag.

Done and done.

Used a lighly damp paper towel. They look alot better now.

The cone looks kinda like paper. It has a woven looking pattern and feel to it. Dust cap is plastic of somesort.
