hey everyone, need major help here..
I have a Jensen xa2100 amp, 200 watts. I just got a single 12 inch Jensen tornado sub, 700 watts, 150rms.
i know its not crazy bass or anything, but it was free so i'll take it. i have everything wired, but am not sure how to best hook up the sub to the amp...does have two negatives and 2 positives for 2 subs, but i'm only going to be running one sub, i need my trunk.
so what is the best way to do this, should I bridge it to get the 300watts x1 or should i just wire it up regularly? If bridging is the way to go, how should I bridge it, i'm not sure which negative and which positve go where. i already checked online and it is a bridgable amp. and if i were to hook it up the regular way, i believe than its 100x1, does it matter which positive and negative it should go in? i assume not. and what the heck does 2 ohm and 4 ohms mean?
Any help is appreciated, thanks,
Peter
