How to accomplish extreme SPL

How would i go about doing this. I want to start going around to competitions. I possibly have a Ford Festiva (a small 2 door hatchback) to do this to. One that i can strip bare and do whatever i want basically. So i guess the question is how would i do this?

Like what brands of subs to use? how to design the box? what type of enclosure? wall it off? how many? how to run the wires? etc etc.

Basically I would like someone to walk me through the learning process of building a system for competitions (without being sponsored either)
