mine will keep quite hot... work at the cooler times of day with the door open and a nice industrial fan....

Insulate the garage door. You will be AMAZED at how much it cools it off. You can buy the stuff in sheets at HD.

You dont cover it with anything. You can use liquid nails to hold it to the garage door. It comes in 1/2 and 3/4 thickness. Just walk down the insulation aisle, and look for sheets covered in what looks like aluminum foil. Trust me, it makes at least a 15-20 degree temperature difference.

I think if u just keep a good circulation of air it'd be okay. Might be hot air but it'll feel cooler just cause it's moving.
