The crossmember isnt bent... Its not flush with the skin its about a good 3/4 inch down from the skin ( for strength ) if i jacked it up all that would happen is i would bend the shit outta the member and push it flat to the skin.. Then my headliner would prolly not fit right either

i would grind that metal down and let it get good and hot, then let it set and see how much of it comes out first, then u can decide what to do...and i think that the best way is stinging, or u could just pop it and pull it out and then fill the holes

im gonna do everything i can with what i have tomorrow, to get the dent out.. Then sand and bond that spot.. Put windshield in and be ready for paint.. Like i said the car still l okes pretty good inside and out, and will more than likely look better than 90% of the spl cars ive seen at shows

good ideas id pay you to do it if u were close.. I just dont even want to dick with the thing anymore.. it was a pain in the *** just getting the headliner out.. Now it'll be easy since theres no windshield

$72 per hour haha...yea id help u too, i love body work...ive replaced the skins on 100 grand prix/grand ams...their easy...book time is like 15.5 hours, i can get it out in 8-10

Im not much of a welder, and my buddys gonna sand/ Paint the whole car for 500+ paint.. Which will be good enough.. Not that he doesnt to very good work.. its just not worth a $2k paint job for what im going to be using it for

Hes sanding the whole thing down patching a bad spot and putting a few coats of clear on.. Maybe it was 500 period.. He a friend through a good friend .. He threw out 500 without seeing the car yet.. so as soon as i get a windshield and get shit worked out i should be good to go..
