How The Hell Do I Connect Power Wire To This Amp?

Viper 2500, power, ground, and speaker terminals look like little pins. How do I get the wires in? I have never seen an amp like this, but I know a lot of you guys have vipers, so please help!

You need the plug. There is a plug that connects to the wires, then slides into that opening to connect them to the amp. Sounds like you are missing that plug. Shouldn't be hard to find.....they are on egay all the time. Contact robotunderground on egay and see if he has some you can buy.

No. That is a wire reducer, that allows you to, for example, fit 1/0ga wire into a 4ga opening. Those DEI amps need specialized plugs.

Should have came with the amp. Either your amp accidently got skipped, or it was removed from the box before you received the amp. Where'd ya buy it?

That may be the problem, I bought it from ikesound as a refurb. Ive bought lots of refurbs before and they always came with everything I needed. I also didint get a bass knob with it. Maybe I should start a thread asking others who bought from ikesound?

Then yup.....sounds like the problem is that ikesound didn't include/replace them. Call or e-mail them and tell them you didn't get any with your amp......if they are a decent company at all, they'll 2-day them to ya.

i just got one from them and it had plugs. but the first one i got and hooked it up and the focker kept poping fuses. so i sent it back and forgot to include the plug for the power hope you didn't get my beat amp. get that focker hooked up to make sure you got a good amp!!!

i ordered mine from ikesound as well.didn't come with the bass knobs,but came with 2 pos/neg plugs and one +/-/remote/+/- plug for my speaker and remote output.

they should send you some.i've always had good business with them.

Update:

Got an email from Alvin in tech, he was very helpful. Said they definitely should have came with the amp, and he sent them out right away. Along with an Orion tshirt, I guess as consolation or something. Anyway, they took care of the problem quickly. Good deal.
