i don't know how you did it, it is **** near impossible. i spent the last 2 hours trying to get it to line up, it will not do it. i tried the hammer method to try to get it centered, it does not budge. i will bet $50 nobody on here can get it to line up, with both of them charged, it has a mind of its own. perhaps your method would work on a smaller/less powerful motor.he wont be able to get it dead center, but he could clean the ferrite/top plate, put a small amount of whatever adhesive he wants to use on the ferrite/bottom plate then try to place it the top plate down on the bottom plate as close to centered as possible, then use a mallet to carfully hit various spots on the side of the top plate to try to center it up even more
edit: i know this works because ive had to do it before
and if i was not careful doing it, i easily could've lost a finger doing it, that magnetic charge ain't no joke.
I'm gonna send a message to RE in hopes they can help me, this is what I would consider to be a manufacturer defect rather then user error.
