how should i wire this?

im working with a single DVC 4-ohm sub and this amp: http://www.epinions.com/pr-Boss_R635_Car_Audio_Amplifier

i know its the crappiest of the crap. my gear got stolen and this is just temporary. the amp does 200wrms x 2 @ 4ohm. i want to bridge the amp to get the most out of it but not sure if i will need to wire my sub in paralell or series? to clearify, bridging is when you take a negative load of one channel and a positive of the other to make ONE "bridged" channel?

if i wire in series, would that mean 200wrms to each coil, therefore = 400wrms total on the sub?

You can either wire each channel to one of the voice coils for 200 watts per coil or you can bridge it and wire the sub in series so it is at an 8 ohm load. I would do the first

well the best you can do is wire each coil to each channel. get RCA splitters for the input so the signal is the same on both channels. and match the gain exactally.

imo - its not a safe way to run the amp to the sub, but you will only get like 100w at 8 ohm, and you will barely hear the sub if you wired the coils together - so just do each coil to each channel and dont go crazy with the volume... if its temporary, then ok - but i would not keep it like that for long.

theirs only 1 neg and 1 pos terminal on the box. how would i go about that?

You would have to take the sub out of the box and run an additional wire. I would try running wiring the coils parallel having the amp see a 2 ohm mono load. Amp probably wont like it but it could work for now.
