usually towards teh tailgate or the hatch, but it might work better in your car facing upwards..

its different for each car, just try it and see...

try all orientations... it all depends on teh acoustics of you vehicle..

Fire torwards the interior for SQ, fire out torwards the rear for SPL, and only fire upwards uf you are really pressed for space and HAVE to design your box like that.

again, you cant amke that generalization...

it all depoends on teh individual car..

plus for SQ, he might like the response of it facing upwards, ro towards the hatch...

try every orientation you can... figure out which one you like best and go with it
