Having them set differently won't really damage anything to begin with. Having them set drastically different simply wouldn't provide optimum performance.

But a variance of .2V isn't going to create any noticeable differences.

Thank you! Everone thinks the amps have to be set exactly the same. They don't!!!!!

I have seen a few passive crossover designs that use a DVC driver so they can XO each coil differently and adjust the power to each coil to shape the bottom end while allowing a smooth slope into the mid bass.
