How Powerful Do I really need to go?

Hi, this is my first post on here. I'm looking for a decently strong amp to push two 15's i bought that are 500-700rms. I got hustled into the powerbass brand (yet online i have seen alot of positive remarks on them.) Their DVC 4 ohm also.

I was looking at the powerbass amps to match it, because I thought it would look nice. However my first set of subs and amp were kickers, and I absolutely enjoy their sound. Still I wouldn't mind looking outside the box for a better amp.

Right now I'm looking at possibly getting the kicker zx 1500w amp off ebay for around 500 total (a little below) which is fine. But eventually I do want to get the kicker L7's or CVX's which are 1000rms (15's) or 750rms (12's).

My question is to eventually upgrade to better subs that are that strong is a 1500w amp going to be able to push these enough? Or should I just save up for an amp that is about 2000w rms to 3000w rms?

Any suggestions are helpful, and brand isn't that important to me.

Thanks!

Well I don't really need to be one ohm stable, just 2 ohm to just get the power I really need out of it. WHich I believe it is. Tax return time is now, so I'll see how much I get back, and see how long I need to save to get the amp.

Just tryin to buy the amp now rather than buy another one for another system.

Thanks Errybody

What type of amp is the 1500w? And I seen a 2000w amp by powerbass on ebay for 200 actually.

Idk how good their amps are, but I'm tempted. Powerbass really makes it more affordable, but who really knows whats getting cranked out in reality.

get the zx1500.1. When yo get the new subs down the road you can buy another zx1500.1. I heard 2 zx1500.1's on 4 cvx 12's sealed and it was loud as fvck. I have one zx1500.1 on 2 Mag 15's sealed and its pretty **** loud
