I have little to no knowledge when it comes to "sound deadening" so Im looking for some input from anyone that knows the in and outs.
Im working with an '02 Chevy 2500 crew cab truck and I think Im going to go with Second Skin's "Damplifier Pro", but like I said, I know very little about this stuff and am just going by reviews from this forum primarily.
My question is basically, how much of this will I need to run 1 layer over the entire interior (floorboard, doors (4), behind the rear seat and possibly the headliner)? I say "possibly" regarding the headliner because that is my next question, is covering the headliner a "must" and will doing that area make a substantial difference, or is it just an added bonus that wont matter much??
Any and all input is appreciated, my goal with this is to improve audio sound and eliminate as much outside noise as possible.
Thanks!
