How much port area do I need for my new TC Sounds LMS 5400 Ultra 18"

3.5 cube for an 18"? Good luck tuning that small down to 30hz without port noise. Likely your port will take up more volume than the box.

im going for 33hz not 30hz. this 18" sub is designed to go in small enclosures. the port will take up about 1.15ft3. 3x17x31. I can go as big as 3.5"x17" for the port but not sure if 3.5" is necessary. here is the link to this sub. it says to put it in a 3.4ft3 box tuned @ 33hz.

Highly suggest passive radiators, and tuning close to Fs as possible..
