help buying subs

I want to get loud and good quality subs. Ones I have in mind are 2 rockford fosgate p3s, 2 jl audio 10w3v3, or 2 re audio sxx 12 v2s

Should I stay with two or get one better quality one. If there are better ones out their let me know. I'll be willing to spend around 500 on them.

As you may know. Your system sounding good has just as much to do with the build as it dies with the subs. Any way how much power are you trying to run. And what size subs ?

10 or 12 inch subs. And probably up to 1200 watts rms

A pair of tantric md 12s in a ported 5^3 at 32 hertz on 1500-2000 rms will be nice

You can look at dc soundlabs subs to. But the tantrics will be a better option

You would need a box and wires. The amp a ppi bk 1800 wound be fine they are $200 shipped new. The subs are 2-3 week build time. Built to order they'll run you about $260 each shipped

There's mainstream stuff you see on sonic electronix and crutchfield that are also pushed heavily by car stereo shops that dont know any better; and there's underground competition level stuff that are built tougher, get louder and priced better.
