Lets start off by stating you are retarded.

To begin with, highly doubt that many people have used those woofers, much less have used the Type R and that woofer comparably.

Personally, I'd go with the Type R because of price comparison, and buy a different amp instead of two 850's(although they're great amps, they're relatively expensive...save yourself some money)

Besides, you have the install to factor in as well.

Just get the Hype R's. For the price you're considering on those other woofers, you could buy HDC3's or used RD Alphas or similar and get plenty louder (And not have a 2.5" VC)

Ok how about I actually give you guys some background so i don't sound "retarded"...?

I already have one alpine MRP-M850 that I was using with some ported polks in my old Ford Explorer which was recently totalled.

My original plan was to just get another M850 and two 15" Alpine Type-R's but I have been doing some research on those other items and am questioning whether or not it will be worth the extra amount of money.

Now back to my question, how much louder, deeper and better sounding would the 2 15 AV's on the AQ2200D be then the 2 M850's and the 2 15 Type-R's

Well the AE's are only 100 dollars more then the Type'Rs but how much better do you think the avs would sound?

Idk anyone that has run the AEs but plenty ppl have had good success w/ Rs.

Check out sum RE SXs, i run them and absolutely love em. Sound quality is good IMO and they get loud off not alot of power.
