if you know where to buy from and can find good deals its not about how much your system costs. you could buy a kicker setup from an audio store for 2 grand and find it online for only 1 grand.

its not very har to spend 3g's on a system it all depends on what you get i personally have an:

02 gmc sierra duramax diesel

if you buy jl you pay for it but theres nothing like it

most of my stuff i shopped around for il tell ya what i payed and what the retail was on ot at the time

its got

a jl e4300 440 wat speaker amp like185 retail 500

a jl500/1v2 sub amp payed 415 retail 600

a jl 10w6v2 sub in a stealth box just 1 for now 700 unfortunately these only come direct from jl

jl tr650-CSi speakers 85 retail 250

jl tr400-CXi speakers 45 retail 200

clarion dxv945mp deck95 retail 600

so if i payed retail it would have cost 2900 and i only got one sub

but i payed 1500

google products and ebay they're a butiful bunch

Actually I paid $550 to SS for a butt-load of it (damp pro, spectrum, ensolite, etc). Whether I use it all on this install or not remains to be seen. Ive also spend a pretty penny on other local goods I lumped in with that.

Yes, I get serious about sound deadening. Most people dont believe me when I tell them my vehicles have concrete in them. Then I tap on a door or quarter panel and they believe.

Im in more than that in sound deadening, but its worth every penny.

But as far as everything goes i dont want to even think about it, the 3 ways alone set me back over 1k
