once the amp enters the car, u arent gonna see no where near that much power. maybe around 500w. 9.1 maybe benched at whaeva, but real world application is different

i have the 9.1 run at 2 ohms and it draws 42 amps so im guessing thats around 800-900 watts but thats without the efficeincy worked into the equation. it does its rated power and does it right. no problems with mine as of yet.

42 amps running at 14.4 volts means the amp is creating a total of 604.8 watts,

to calculate the amps efficency, lets say it's very high at 80% efficent, you are losing 121 watts through heat, which equals to the amp is only outputting 483.8 watts to the speaker terminals.

these figures are quite optimistic also, your system voltage might be lower then 14.4 volts, and I highly doubt the amp is 80% efficient

Then that is true for every amp that is rated ar 900 watts @2ohms. I would compare it to every amp that is rated at 900 watts @2 0hms in this case. Either way it is all relative.
