How much can you stink an RE SE before it craps out

I have some old RE SE's yet they don't smell

i have had my re se 12s ...since 05 and i went to drag shws and usai shows for last 3yrs and i daily use them HARD...and i only smelled coil 5times and that was off 3 different amps..one orion 1200d and a sundown sae1000d and now a sundown saz1500d....and im happy and hell

just send them klean power and make sure there loading properly and ur goood to go

i have a single re se 12" with a sundown 1500 feeding it... when played hard it like to give off a stinch.....

it's like any sub you burn off the glue holding the windings it's only a matter of time you have some nice slinkys. little hot smell is ok but if u are seeing smoke is were u got to watch it...

Well I appreciate all the posts but I think I accidentally solved it lol . For anybody that has seen explorers the seats basically touch the B pillars. And the console is a full length one that is pretty tall and touches the seats so doesn't leave room for air to get around except above that line. I took it out for the reason I think it may hurt my metering and went driving around town and I didn't get any smell out of them at all. Guess had way too much back pressure on them. Thanks guys
