How many watts

i am new to the car audio world and will be putting a system in a car i am soon to have,

OK, if i am powering three 10" subs how many watts would the amp need to be and also another question....what does "ohms" mean?

and also another question....what does "ohms" mean?
An "ohm" is a measure of resistence.

What this means to us; For a given impedance (ohm), the amplifier you use is going to output a certain amount of power. So, we need to know the impedance (ohms) of the subwoofer(s) so we will know how much power the amplifier will output.

What impedance are your subwoofers?
