I have a new T112D2 its a dual voice coil 2 ohm. I can either run it at 1 ohm or 4 ohms. The rms is 600 and peak is 1200. What watt amp should i run this with? and should i run it at 1 or 4 ohm? The amp right now keeps overheating for some reason. Its the hifonks bx605, it does 600rms at 1 ohm. Ive heard of ppl running this sub at 800 rms. What should i do? Thanks!

I have no experience with Fosgate's Power-series stuff but I would imagine, like most decent-quality drivers, likely it will safely take 25% or so above and beyond its rated RMS...

If you have an amp that would sufficiently power that T1 @ 4 Ohms then I would go that route if for no other reason than lower current draw (equaliing lower heat as well) meaning better longevity for the amp over the long haul. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
