how many watts do I need?

I wanna run 1 maybe 2 cvr 15's in my truck and was wondering what amp I need. I wanna get a rockford just for personal prefrence. Is a t1001bd an overkill or will it be good for the job. What do you guys think?

I would prefer 1 15 due to the size of the box but am considering 2.

500W each?? I think he'd be better of with 1 15".. OR go with 2 12's.. that's probably the best option if you have room

Kikcer compVR is 500 rms and might get louder on the available wattage you have.

Or a single CVR on 1k in low tuned ported box.

you could also look into AQ SD2.5 15" its 900 rms, not sure if coild configuration comes in 1 ohm though.

For the price of the RF you could get a AQ 2200 for 389 from AQ give each 15 lil over 1k, you will need to upgrade lectrical to run that amp though, or the 1200 AQ amp is maybe better suited for stock electrical systems.

I do have space for 2 15's but i wanna be able to take the box out to fit ppl when i need too. So maybe 1 15. I say cvr's because my friend has 4 of them that he wants to get rid of. So 1 15 and a smaller amp? I wanna spend around 300 for an amp and I wanna have the stock electrical system Besides and optima and cap.

no, it just means its a single channel amp. you can hook up a million subs to it, just have to make sure the final impedance is one that will work with the amp

if an amp isnt stable at 1 ohm, using a 1 ohm sub with it could ruin the amp

a kicker L7 to 1 ohm off a cadence txa 1000D ported mid 30's would pount pretty **** good, and there cheap on ebay, and cadence 1000rms amps are only $199, with warranty
