how many watts can they handle?

I am going to get 2 06 15L7s, but i hear so many mixed things about how many watts you can feed them. Anyone know really about how many watts i could feed these two and should i go for 2 seperate amps or 1 amp?

I've read that the 12's can handle up to 1,200 rms and the 15's up to 2,000 rms.

Make sure you have dual 4ohm l7's and get one amp

im tellin ya you dont wanna give those L7's more than a thosand watts a piece for very long. I suggest a 1500 watt at 1ohm or maximum of 2000w at 1ohm stable amp

ive seen L7's smoke. The secret to getting L7's loud is a well designed ported box. Even in a ported box those L7's have great response. (ive owned several L7's since their introduction....i remember rumors goin around town about Kickers new square subwoofer haha)

i've heard 1 15" off of a JL1000 and it was begging for more power. Id send 1500 to it daily...get a 2000 watt amp so you can crank it more if that doesnt quite do it.

They're rate at 1000wrms, but can take a whole lot more. Randalv35, are you talking about the '06 L7s? From everything I've heard, the '06s can take a lot more power than the previous models.
