Your stock electrical should handle about about 1000 real world watts with no problems...and mininmum upgrades...or about 25,000 Pyle - Pyramid etc watts......

Really depends on the car...

My car is all stock except the battery, and it handles 1000+ watts no problem. Was running about 1500w until a week ago, and that worked just fine too.

I would plan to upgrade for 2400 though..

get a second battery + big 3. running 2400w is pretty much getting to a point of needing a new alt depending what your stock puts out.

go for a second battery bank and big 3 after you get a bigger setup. if your voltage is still unstable then go for a new alt.

what kind of battery would you recomend?..and how would i go about puttin an extra in the trunk

i ran 1500rms on stock 110a alt w/ new but stock battery. My alt died once and had it rebuilt, it lasted like 6 months, so thats pretty good, i'll just keep gettin it rebuilt. It was like $90, im not gonna be into caraudio much longer before college. After college i'd like to get back into it and get big 3 with new alt and big battery.
