How many square inches of port would this be?

port length is different from port area. Port area is just the flat area of the port hole. I think you are looking for volume?
port area would be 28.274 sq. inches

volume would be 113.097 cubic inches
wrong!!!! you used diameter instead of radius

port area would be 7.065 sq in

volume would be 28.26 cu in

area = pi x r sq.

volume = pi x r sq x h

yeah.. about 7" is right.. Not exact...

also, you need to know the xmax of your driver to find out how much port area minimum you need for it, and you will also want to know the size of the box..

For a more realistic estimation of area needed, you need to consider the actual power being used not the Xmax. Port velocity is highest where cone movement is almost zero. Xmax doesn't matter. Tuning, power and box volume all come into play, Xmax does not. The flare in the aeroport also greatly reduces the port velocity allowing you to use a smaller port than you would need without the flare.
