The resurgence of the "old school" post got me to thinking.....Just how many of you guys out there still actually owns and uses any old equipment. Please list what you have........heres mine...

I still have a PPI DCX-1000 digital x-over that I'm planning on using in my next big system. I'd like to find another one at a reasonable price as well as the RCM-1000 which was the wired remote for the DCX, so if any of you are will to part with one pm me o.k........ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif By the way I've check e-bay and there's nothing out there yet......

I have some fairly "old school" gear:

(2) Pairs of Illusion Audio CH1 horns

(2) Illusion ND-10s

(1) Illusion ND-12

(3) Coustic Design Reference Amp-505DR

(3) Coustic Design Reference Amp-510DR

(1) Coustic Design Reference Amp-514DR

(2) Coustic Design Reference DX-28

(1) Coustic Design Reference DA-55

(1) Soundstream Rubicon 702 (original, not Rubi-II)

(1) Pair of Coustic DR 6.5" mids

(1) Pair of Coustic DR 5.25" mids

(4) Coustic DR DR-326 basspumps

(1) Pair of Coustic DR line drivers

And I don't know if my PG EQ-232 is considered old school or not.

See that's what I'm talking about true users of the good stuff......question, isn't that DR-326 basspump that speaker setup that had like two 8" subs mounted on a frame that had a 6x9 mounting pattern?????

Same concept, different size //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif The 326 uses 6" subs (yes, that's right, 6 inch). The 328 uses dual 8s, and the 330 uses dual 10s.

Here is a pic for those who have no idea WTF we are talking about:

Don't know yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I have my power wire jerry-rigged (hehe)......so I gotta wait till I wire everything "correctly" so I can install another amp and try them out.

GROUND ZERO NUKE!

check this out.

***dont as what the car battery with duct tape and bolts is, its a long story***

got it hooked up to the TV.... just watched boondock saints for the first time... only gave it 100~200w, and it adds a plesant bump to the gunshots //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

that move = my favorite movie ever created.

but im using it =)

and ill soon be using that PPI PC2400 (~500w RMS) to bump it instead of that crappy coustic amp once i get the power plug from my buddy.

ill get some cleaner pics once i make a lil box for everything -and port the GZ of course! MUAHAHHAA

so for me;

Coustic PowerLogic 262 (matte grey in the bottom left)

PPI PC2400 (chrome in the bottom right of the picture)

Ground Zero Nuke (duh. the subwoofer)

An Xtant 403A 3/5 channel powers my whole system right now... It's kinda new to me, but its an old-school design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
