i wouldn't mind opening my own shop, then i can have my rules and sell the brands i want. i can do decent installs but i don't do the fancy shit that involves oodles of fiberglass and has a lot of bling. i like the clean stock look that sounds good.

IMO, in order for you to be profitable you would need to do both. Seeing that the populus is a mix of poor and rich kids.

that's why i haven't opened a shop yet. plus trying to hock brands like re to these asshats here is worthless. the local shop does carry image dynamics and i would try to sell that, but they all wanted the L7's and w3's

well i went to two Car audio shops today and was looking around and most those guys that work there are pretty young and didnt seem to know alot bout car audio when i heard them helping people out, They mostly told people that hey Sony xplods are awesome! no really but didnt seem really as educated as yall on here

it seems harder and harder to get into a shop these days. but if you can its well worth it wether you get good pay or not, its the experience you get from it.
