Is 6.55 the minimum wage in your state?

My job isnt too bad but gets boring if i dont have any parts to make or clean. 2 weeks ago we got flooded up to my knees from the rain, so theres been plenty to clean.

I hate that when minimum goes up everyone that is hourly doesn't go up. If you work for min and go up 50c then I should be at $20.50.

I have friends who are making less than new hires because they came in just before the min wage raise. people that are not trained making more money than the trainer....WTF

nope not union. i almost did go into the union when i first started this job a few years ago though. but i was going to have to take a pay cut at first and i just didn't wanna do that, kinda glad i didn't now.

I make pretty decent money(to me at least) and i absolutely love cars so working on cars in a performance shop is the perfect job for me. Owners are cool guys too, they have loaned me money in the past when i needed it(out of their own pockets, not company money). Never any issues if i need to call out or have to leave early for things from time to time.

fauk, i use to sweat my ass off making people burgers for $6.55 an hour, 30min break in a 5 hour shift, always something to fkn clean, and get $70 a week..
