sorry, not trying to sound like a as$ hole, but honestly, there is no way to tell exactly how much you would need. Llike my bat neg to chassis was only 2inches.... and from my alt to bat pos was maybe 4ft etc, and engine block to chassis was maybe 6inches or so. So i didnt need much at all
But it really depends on your car and how you want to install it....because i could have easily had a longer run from my alt to battery positive, going back and up near the firewall and back down....instead of the route i took.

More than likely yes....but than again, its better to have too much than too less...You can always save the rest for other upgrades, friends rides, or even sell on the forum
lol, u didnt piss me off at all. I looked at the way it sounded and it sounded as if i was coming off mean. So i was just letting you know that wasnt my intensions. We are all here to help one another, and if your post made me mad, then that is my fault for even replying. So everything is all good. You dont have a tape measure on hand to measure your ride? Or did you just think of it and figured you'd reply since its cold out?
Ok, i just ran outside (in the cold might i add) and took a quick measurement. I drive a 96 honda accord. From chassis to bat neg. it was about 2 inches......alt to batt postive was 4 feet worth....and engine block to chassis was about 7inches.
So my guess was pretty accurate

If you do have your car and a tape measurer on hand, measure it. If i have enough extra 1/0 left over, i would sell it to you for a good price.. After all, its just sitting in my garage.

5ft is plenty

hmmm, lol...let me run back outside and see if i can find my tape measurer. And see how much i have left over. That is, if you want to buy it.....Its 1/0 guage Knukonceptz wire. Its purple too... Dont know if you mind the color, but it gets the job done
