Hey im looking into getting some dynamat/edead. Looking at my car specs, i found that its 20ft cubed. Im not sure how these measurements work when using the mats, so i need some help. Its a 2000 mercury grand marquis. The trunk is not Necessarily a cube shape on the inside, so there may be some extra feet needed. Any help is appreciated. Also, which brand is the best value?

Just measure how much square footage you are looking to cover. Perhaps the deck lid, trunk floor, rear fenders, rear deck, roof, doors, and possibly floor. Of course, what you want to deaden is up to you. I'd do the majority of the trunk, granted it's a trunk build? And, some on the roof and doors.

What im mostly aiming for is the trunk for now. So yea im gonna try the floor, fenders, and the trunk lid.
